On the 67th Foundation Day of All India Management Association (AIMA), Narayana Murthy said that AI will not replace humans because they will not allow AI to do so. He said, ‘I think there is a misconception that AI will replace humans, humans will not allow artificial intelligence to replace them.’ The founder of Infosys says that AI has made our lives more comfortable by being ‘helpful’.

He further said, ‘These technologies have made human life more comfortable.’ Murthy also said that humans have the power of mind which no computer can compete with. He believes that AI will free up much of human time. However, instead of enjoying that free time, man will start thinking about new things and become busy.

He said, ‘Many people at one time thought that all these computers would make us more independent. This has not happened. No matter what technology you will invent. The human mind is always one step ahead and becomes the master of that technology.
