Wiseman also notes that belief in ghosts is directly related to creativity and developed imagination. This was proved by a 2013 study: according to the findings of scientists, those people who are more inclined to attribute human qualities to animals and even just objects are also more likely to believe in ghosts.
In addition, according to Wiseman, such people have a similar temperament. They have such qualities as creativity, open-mindedness, the ability to completely immerse themselves in a film or play.
At the same time, other people can take advantage of such features. According to a study conducted in the 1990s by psychologist Dr. James Howran, a person is more likely to believe in supernatural phenomena if he is “prepared” for it, by instilling something in him.
