Kuzmenko warned that while smartphone batteries are becoming more durable, they are nevertheless subject to degradation. So, over time, the capacity of any battery will decrease. It is noted that a fifth of their capacity will decrease after 12 months of active use.
“As your smartphone’s battery is nearing the end of its life, swelling may occur. The effect of this can go to the back cover or to the screen, it depends on the design of the smartphone itself, on how the components are located inside the device. It is not recommended to use such a phone ”, – warned Kuzmenko.
He noted that this recommendation is due to the unpredictability of the battery – at best, it will fail, but there is a possibility that it will explode.
