Initially, it was announced that sponsored posts would appear as follow-up posts in channels. But then it turned out that there would be no advertising in the channels of government agencies and officials, and all other publishers would have to buy the shutdown of advertising according to the auction model – the cost of shutdown cannot be predicted.
A number of experts have already suggested that the only way out of this situation is to introduce a news feed into Telegram, just like in social networks. Such posts do not appear among content within groups and on user pages (within channels in the case of Telegram), so the advertising format on social networks is not so annoying and distracting.
And if in the near future nothing changes in the messenger, an outflow of users to other sites and services may begin, or advertising in Telegram will disappear completely.
