Who has how much property, Hindu or Muslim, understand the reality from the figures

Today we will tell you about one such report, in which the wealth of people and families of all these castes and religions has been mentioned and complete data has been given.

This complete data is available in the study report on inter-inequality in wealth ownership in India by the ICSSR-accredited research institute Indian Institute of Dalit Studies. In this report, data from All India Debt and Investment Survey i.e. AIDIS conducted by NSSO and Indian Economic Senses has also been used. This report clearly states that property ownership is lowest among Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Muslims.

Which group has how much wealth in India?

According to the report data, upper Hindu castes hold about 41 percent of the country’s total wealth, followed by Hindu OBCs (31 percent). Muslims, SCs and STs hold 8 percent, 7.3 percent and 3.7 percent of the wealth respectively. The report estimates that the total wealth of the Hindu upper caste is Rs 1,46,394 billion, which is almost 11 times the total wealth of the STs (Rs 13,268 billion). According to estimates, Muslims have assets worth Rs 28,707 billion.

How much property does each family in the country own?

If we talk about the average wealth of every family in the country, then it was found to be Rs 15.04 lakh. On the other hand, there were considerable disparities in the wealth of families in different social groups. If we talk about upper Hindu castes first, the total wealth of each family is Rs 27.73 lakh, which is the highest. After that is the number of Hindu OBC. Where an average of Rs 12.96 lakh was seen. Which is more than 50 percent less than that of a high caste Hindu. The report found that the average wealth of Muslim families was Rs 9.95 lakh. Whereas ST families had an average income of Rs 6.13 lakh and SC families had an average income of Rs 6.12 lakh, which is much less than that of high caste Hindus.
