Rogerio Gaspar, director of regulation and prequalification of the World Health Organization, said they will be ready to conduct an on-site inspection of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine in February.
Earlier, this inspection was already postponed from December 2021 to January 2022, due to the spread of the omicron-strain COVID-19.
According to our plan for today, taking into account that by the end of December we will receive all the necessary information, we will be able to conduct a local inspection at the Sputnik V production facility in February.
According to Gaspar, the Russian Direct Investment Fund promises to send the first data set to WHO by the end of 2021. The second data set is to be sent to WHO by the end of January 2022.
