Many new models have been introduced in the Indian market in the last week, which includes the new edition of the existing model to the model with engine update. While the introduction of Maruti Jimny has also started, Mahindra has crossed the new production figure of Thar.
1. Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition
Skoda has launched the 2023 Kushaq Onyx Edition in India, priced at Rs 12.39 lakh, which is Rs 80,000 more than the base Active variant. This variant is placed between the Active and Ambition Classic trims.
The 2023 Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition is offered with only the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. With the new edition, the Kushaq gets a new look along with a few extra features over the base variant.
2. Mahindra Thar Production Figures
Mahindra has crossed the production mark of 1 lakh units of Thar SUV and it has been done by Kamal Mahindra in 2.5 years (30 months). This shows the popularity of this SUV from the company and it is ruling its segment.
New petrol and diesel engines have been used in Mahindra Thar, which include 2.0 liter petrol and 2.2 liter diesel engines. The petrol engine produces 150 Bhp power and 320 Nm torque, while the diesel engine produces 130 Bhp power and 350 Nm torque.
3. Maruti Jimny introduced
Maruti Suzuki is soon going to bring the Jimny SUV to India but before that the company will showcase it in phase wise dealerships across the country. It has started and it was first shown in Delhi. It is to be shown in many more cities as well.
Its bookings have crossed 23,000 units. It can be booked by paying an upfront amount of Rs 25,000. It can be launched in the month of May. It will be shown in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Mohali, Ludhiana and Raipur.
4. 2023 Honda Activa 125 Launch
Honda Motorcycle has launched the OBD-II compliant 2023 Honda Activa 125 range in India. The company has brought Activa 125 with new updates, along with it has also launched new variant H-Smart.
Honda has brought Activa 125 in a total of four variants – Drum, Drum Alloy, Disc, H-Smart. Its drum variant has been priced at Rs 78,920, drum alloy at Rs 82,588, disc variant at Rs 86,093 and H-Smart at Rs 88,093.
