The day before, Germany announced the introduction of a “nationwide ban on unvaccinated people.” This is the first step that German politicians have taken in anticipation of the introduction of compulsory vaccinations in early 2022.
So, residents of the country who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be prohibited from visiting all public places, except for the most necessary ones – supermarkets and pharmacies. At the same time, people who have recently undergone coronavirus are called as an exception to the fresh rule.
We realized that the situation is very serious and that we want to take additional measures together with those already taken. The fourth wave must be broken and this has not yet been achieved.
At the same time, the outgoing Chancellor Angela Merkel, together with her successor Olaf Scholz, proposed a draft mandatory vaccination. If supported by the parliament, it may enter into force after February 2022.
