New Delhi. WhatsApp is developing many features to enhance the experience of its users. According to a report by WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned app is working on a new security feature called Login Approval. This feature will be available in future updates of the app. After the introduction of this feature, the tension of hacking the account will end.
This feature will protect the user’s account. Once the feature is released, WhatsApp users will get an in-app alert if someone else tries to log into someone’s account. WABetaInfo, a website that tracks the latest WhatsApp updates, shared a screenshot of the feature.
Working on feature
WABetaInfo said in a report that Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp is rolling out a beta version. The feature tracker has spotted a new feature called Login Approval, which is currently in development phase, and may be released as part of a future update.
The feature will send an in-app alert to the users
The website has written that when someone else tries to log in to your WhatsApp account, you will get a login request. Users can disapprove this login request. This feature will also share the information of the phone and time from which an attempt has been made to login. Even if a user has inadvertently shared his six-digit security code, the login approval feature will keep the user’s account secure.
This feature reduces the risk of the user’s account and information being stolen. At present, the exact information about when this update will be released is not available because work is still going on this feature. Let us tell you that WhatsApp also gives the facility of two-step verification to the users.
