New Delhi: Meta-Owned Instant Messaging Platform as per IT Rules 2021 WhatsApp Has released its ninth monthly report in February 2022. Between February 1 and 28, more than a million WhatsApp accounts were banned. (Typical 1.4 million). The reasons for banning the accounts of these restricted account holders include malicious activities, harassment of other users, and spreading false news. Furthermore, the company has repeatedly stated that all messages on the platform are end-to-end encrypted, meaning that no one can read the message without a sender and receiver. Not even WhatsApp or even the parent company, Meta (formerly Facebook).

WhatsApp gives reasons for banning account:

“Over the past few years, we have consistently invested in Artificial Inteligene and other cutting-edge technologies, data scientists and experts and processes to keep our users safe on our platform,” a WhatsApp spokesperson said in an official statement. As per IT Rules 2021, we have published our 9th monthly report for the month of February 2022. This user-safety report details user complaints and related actions taken by WhatsApp.

According to the company, anyone who shares illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, intimidating, harassing and hate speech, racial or ethnic discrimination messages or promotes any illegal or inappropriate content is banned from their account. In addition, if a user violates the rules and regulations of WhatsApp, his account is closed. So, don’t share anything that hurts anyone. Only then will you be able to secure your WhatsApp account.
