He has expressed his opinion on many important topics including AI killer app, world governments, hybrid working, Tesla, Elon Musk, Apple. According to Karl, at least one AI killer app will emerge. Also, it will remain only as a brand. He also thinks Twitter will do better since Elon Musk spends a lot of time on Twitter. The Metaverse can stay away from users. Apple shares will rise. Because this is a very high class business. At the same time, the smartphone is becoming stronger as a delivery tool for software and services.
Also, world governments will take strict action against Apple and its anti-consumer behavior. They also think companies will actually try to make money. Hybrid work will decline and companies will choose full remote or full on-site.
Pei is also the co-founder of OnePlus. Pei exited OnePlus in September 2020 after almost seven years. That same year, in October 2020, he co-founded the UK-based company Nothing. Nothing’s first product was the Nothing Ear 1, a transparent pair of TWS earbuds.
Like the Nothing Ear 1 earbuds, the Nothing 1 Phone also comes with a unique transparent design. It also has a Glyph interface. The Nothing Phone 1 phone has a transparent back panel with LED strips, which indicate incoming calls, notifications and charging. The smartphone comes with its own UI called Nothing OS.
