What spice is good for diabetics

The Daily Express reports that regular consumption of fenugreek will reduce glucose levels in the human body by 25 percent. Read more in the article.

Fenugreek can significantly reduce blood sugar levels, according to a study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition. The experiment found that after eating 10 grams of ground fenugreek seeds every day, the participants’ fasting glucose levels dropped by 25 percent after just eight weeks.

However, the author warns that health problems may arise if this product is misused. So, when mixed with other spices that lower sugar levels, fenugreek can lower glucose levels even more, and this will contribute to hypoglycemia.

At the same time, it is known that fenugreek helps fight cancer, lowers the level of “bad” cholesterol, as well as triglycerides.
