Volkswagen is in talks with Huawei to bring the HarmonyOS operating system to their cars. Of course, this only applies to German brand cars that are sold in China.
The German giant is not limited to Huawei. Volkswagen as a whole is looking for a long-term Chinese partner in this direction, but Huawei seems to be at the top of the list of contenders. In addition, her HarmonyOS is already very popular and, importantly, universal.
Interestingly, if Volkswagen cars in China switch to HarmonyOS, they may eventually appear in Russia under the parallel import program.
