New Delhi. The central government is bringing a new rule for smartphones. With which users and smartphone maker companies will be able to remove pre-installed apps from mobile and computer. Such a decision has been taken by the government for the safety of the users and the country. Actually, many foreign companies including many China sell their smartphones in India. Many pre-installed apps are given in the phone by these smartphone companies, which users cannot remove even if they want to. It is being claimed that due to these pre-installed apps, the security and integrity of the country is being harmed. Along with this, the privacy of the users is being violated. In such a situation, the government will give an option to remove pre-installed apps.
What are pre-installed apps
Actually, many apps are already installed in the phone. Till now it was mandatory to pre-install Google’s apps like Google Chrome, Gmail, Google Map in Google Android based smartphone. But after the court’s decision, it will not be mandatory for smartphone makers to pre-install Google’s app.
bloatware app
Pre-installed apps are called bloatware. These apps and software use more storage than necessary in computer and mobile. Most of the bloatware apps are useless. Often you must have seen that the phone has 12 GB space. But 6 GB space is already full due to bloatware apps. In such a situation, the question arises that why smartphone companies offer bloatware apps, then the answer is that companies provide bloatware apps in phones to earn money. Also, due to the Android software, bloatware was also given to smartphone companies, which can be got rid of soon.
