What an airplane looks like on bird legs

During takeoff, the legs raise the cockpit to the maximum height and tilt it back. In addition, the wing is deflected so that the propellers are at an upward angle. This allows the Macrobat to take off almost vertically. In the air, the supports fold in and out. When landing, the cockpit also tilts back about 45 degrees.

Macrobat is a single-seat aircraft. Its flight range reaches 150 kilometers. The aircraft will be able to carry up to 150 kilograms of payload and reach speeds of up to 180 kilometers per hour. Macrobat can also be controlled remotely.

Phractyl intends to produce a real such aircraft, not stop at the concept stage.
