New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that new generation 5G services will start soon in the country. Addressing the countrymen from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 76th Independence Day, he also emphasized on ‘Made-in-India’ technology solutions to the challenges of New India. The Prime Minister said that this technology-decade (TEKD) belongs to India and digital technology is going to bring improvement in every field.
PM Modi said, ‘India’s ‘take’ has arrived. With 5G, semiconductor manufacturing and Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) in villages, we are bringing a revolution at the grassroots level through Digital India.
He said that the Digital India campaign with semiconductor production, 5G network and optical fiber network shows its potential in three areas namely education, healthcare and transforming lives of common man.
Prime Minister Modi said that India’s industrial development will happen from the grassroots level and our micro, small and medium enterprises, street vendors and those working in the unorganized sectors need to be strengthened.
Said this thing against corruption
Prime Minister Modi also resolved to fight against corruption with full gusto. “We have to fight against corruption with all our might. In the last eight years, Rs two lakh crore of black money has been traced using Aadhaar, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and mobile phones.
