Volkswagen is preparing to sell several of its Russian-registered companies, according to a recent financial report. The sale is scheduled for the first half of 2023.
Volkswagen intends to sell Volkswagen Bank Rus LLC, Volkswagen Group Finance LLC and Volkswagen Financial Services Rus LLC, which were engaged in providing financial services to both Volkswagen car buyers in Russia and brand dealers in our country.
In December, an agreement was reached on the sale of Porsche car dealerships (part of Volkswagen), as well as Porsche Russland LLC and Porsche Center Moscow LLC in Russia, to an investor that is not associated with the German company. The deal will be closed by the end of March.
Production of cars at the Russian Volkswagen plant in Kaluga was stopped more than a year ago, this site can be bought by the Avilon dealer holding.
