In Russia, dealers who sell Chinese cars offer heated front seats for an additional fee. Recall that most cars from the Middle Kingdom do not have this option by default.
In particular, according to Autonews.ru, the Jetta VS5 crossover, which is produced jointly by the Volkswagen concern and the Chinese state-owned automaker FAW, does not have heating. A dealer selling such cars with a three-year warranty under the same conditions as Volkswagen gave, offers to install heating for two front seats for 50 thousand rubles. Approximately the same amount is asked for installing seat heating on a Toyota Camry, which the same dealer imports from the Celestial Empire through parallel imports.
Recall, earlier it was reported that the Moskvich 3 car assembled in Moscow, which is a copy of the Chinese JAC JS4 crossover, also does not have heated seats from the factory, but dealers install this option. Some do it as a gift when buying a car, while others ask for up to 15 thousand rubles.
Autonews.ru adds that the Volkswagen Jetta VS5 is a direct competitor of the Moskvich 3 in terms of its dimensions and technical characteristics.
Earlier, we published the first results of sales of the new Moskvich, which turned out to be very low.
