New Delhi. Vivo recently announced its Vivo X Fold smartphone, which is the brand’s first foldable smartphone. Now, just a few weeks after its announcement, the device is now ready for sale in the Chinese market. The Vivo X Fold’s 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage model costs 8,999 yuan (Rs 1,06,394) while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model costs 9,999 yuan (Rs 1,18,161). The device has already been sold in the first sale but it is available for pre-order for the next sale which will take place on April 29.
Vivo X Fold Specifications
The Vivo X Fold sports an 8.03-inch E5 LTPO OLED 3.0 display with UTG that supports 120Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution and 4:3.5 aspect ratio. It also comes with HDR10+ and 113 percent DCI P3 color gamut. The secondary screen features a 6.53-inch E5 OLED panel that supports Full HD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 100% DCI P3 color gamut, and 21:9 aspect ratio. Both of them have a punch-hole cutout to house the front-facing camera sensor.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a custom Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SPU which is basically optimized to enhance the security and privacy of the smartphone at the chip level. It is with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Vivo X Fold Camera
In the camera department, there is a quad-camera setup at the back that includes a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, a 12-megapixel portrait lens and a 5-megapixel lens. -Megapixel periscopic telephoto lens that offers optical zoom up to 5x and digital zoom up to 60x. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel snapper on the outer and inner displays.
Vivo X Fold Battery
The Vivo X Fold foldable smartphone is running Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own custom user interface. It packs a 4,600mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
