Vivo Watch 5 eSIM variant launched with 22-day battery life and health tracking features – Price revealed
The Bluetooth version of the Vivo Watch 5 is priced at 799 yuan (approximately ₹9,500), while the eSIM variant has been launched for 999 yuan (around ₹12,000).
The Bluetooth version of the Vivo Watch 5 was launched in China in April. Now, along with the X Fold 5 foldable phone, the company has introduced its eSIM variant as well. The Vivo Watch 5 offers both health data monitoring and sports tracking. It features a 1.43-inch curved AMOLED display with a circular dial. One of its key features is long battery life. Vivo claims it can last up to 22 days in Bluetooth-only mode, 14 days in eSIM dual-device mode, and 7 days in eSIM standalone mode.
The Bluetooth version is available for 799 yuan (approximately ₹9,500), and the eSIM version for 999 yuan (approximately ₹12,000).
Vivo Watch 5 Specifications
The Vivo Watch 5 features a 1.43-inch curved AMOLED display with a circular dial, supporting a 60Hz refresh rate and 1500 nits of peak brightness. The watch weighs just 32 grams without the strap. It includes health monitoring features such as 24-hour heart rate tracking, blood oxygen levels, stress, sleep, blood pressure, and heart health studies.
Users can choose between silicone or leather straps. The watch runs on BlueOS 2.0 and includes new software features. It comes with an AI sports coach that can monitor running posture, efficiency, and suggest fat-burning workouts based on real-time heart rate.
The watch includes a functional app store, although third-party app support is currently limited. Other features include Bluetooth calling, music control, notifications, NFC for contactless payments, and GPS for outdoor tracking. It has a 5ATM water resistance rating.
A new AI Smart Window feature prioritizes information based on user behavior. The watch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. In China, it also supports WeChat directly.
