Virat and Anushka were seen riding Suzuki Access 125, the video is becoming increasingly viral

This is probably the first time that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been spotted riding scooters in India. Usually these couples like their luxurious cars. Both celebrities have a garage full of high-end cars ranging from Bentleys to Range Rovers.

Earlier, Virat Kohli has been the brand ambassador for automobile brands like Toyota and TVS Motors, while Anushka Sharma has promoted the TVS Scooty Pep automatic scooter. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have only been spotted on two-wheelers during their brand endorsements.

Suzuki Access 125 is one of the best selling automatic scooters in India. It is powered by a 125 cc, fuel-injected four-stroke engine that delivers 8.5 bhp of power and 10 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox.

This scooter is touted as one of the zippier models. In the Indian market, this scooter is being sold at a price of Rs 77,600, ex-showroom Delhi. Riding an automatic scooter is one of the most effective ways to travel around Indian cities and there is a major reason behind it.

Not having to shift gears in stop and go traffic is a huge boon and the fast zip of automatic scooters makes them a great ride for commuting in the city. A profound change is taking place in this segment. Electric scooters are now challenging the petrol powered automatic scooters.

Electric scooters could dominate this space in the next 5 years. It is easy to understand why electric scooters are making deep inroads into the automatic scooter market. Automatic scooters are generally used for short commutes of less than 10 kms.

This is a distance that can be covered easily by an electric scooter and the range is not a concern for this distance. An electric scooter with a range of around 100 to 120 kms per charge is more than enough for daily commute for a large number of buyers.
