Uttarakhand : A big decision has been taken by the government for the cows roaming unclaimed in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Dr. S. Sandhu held a meeting in the Secretariat regarding proper arrangements for the destitute cows to stay at the state level.

It is being told that now hydraulic vehicles will be arranged in all the municipal corporations to lift the animals. Along with this, it is also being informed that arrangements will be made for hydraulic vehicles to lift animals in municipalities as well.

Due to which animals can be saved from getting injured while lifting. Not only this, the District Magistrate will be able to take decisions for the expansion of old Gaushalas. Along with this, the District Magistrate will be able to take decisions for the construction of new gaushalas.

Along with this, we will also ensure that Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and Nagar Panchayats are completely covered.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Additional Secretary Urban Development Navneet Pandey, Secretary Nitesh Jha and Dr. BVRC Purushottam, along with other high officials and all District Magistrates were present through video conferencing.
