Users in these 4 cities will get Jio 5G first, 1gbps free data will also be available

New Delhi: Reliance Jio has launched its 5G service in India a few days ago. Jio 5G is now offering its services in 4 cities namely Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi. Under the Jio 5G Welcome offer, the company is providing free unlimited data of 1gbps to select users.

According to the Ooklas Speedtest Intelligence Report, telecom operators Jio and Airtel are testing their 5G services. Both have registered 5G download speeds of up to 809.94mbps. A more stable speed will be made available after both these companies enter the commercial stage. In this report, Ookla has compared the 5G download speed of Jio and Airtel in four cities.

In Delhi, Airtel recorded an average download speed of nearly 200 Mbps at 197.98 Mbps. Compared to this, Jio has recorded a speed of 600 Mbps so far. Airtel recorded an average download speed of 33.83 Mbps in Kolkata. Reliance Jio recorded an average download speed of 482.02 Mbps in the month of June.

Airtel recorded an average download speed of 271.07mbps in Mumbai. While Jio has brought an average download speed of 515.38mbps since June. Airtel achieved an average 5G download speed of 516.57 Mbps in Varanasi. While Jio has achieved an average download speed of 485.22 Mbps since June 2022. Reliance Jio has launched Jio 5G service in 4 cities including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Varanasi. Airtel is currently offering its 5G service in 8 cities.
