According to a source citing information from representatives of the supply chain, in 2022, USB Type-C connectors will become a standard element of equipment of notebooks in the corporate segment. Suppliers of related components are expected to benefit from this, including the connectors and ICs that support USB Power Delivery (PD), as well as cable suppliers.
The advantages of USB Type-C include a smaller size, insensitivity to the orientation of the connector when connected, the ability to output video with support for DisplayPort Alt Mode, and support for Power Delivery, which allows you to supply power to your laptop.
