UPSC Civil Services Interview New Date: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has changed the date of Civil Services Exam 2024 Interview schedule. Candidates who have qualified in UPSC CSE Mains Exam and were called for interview or personality test can check the new date by visiting the official website of the Commission (UPSC) upsc.gov.in.
Why did UPSC interview schedule change?
UPSC has revised the interview schedule after the release of the notification for Delhi Assembly elections 2025. The candidates who were scheduled to appear in the UPSC interview on 5 February 2025 have now been called on 8 February (Saturday). The notice issued by the Commission reads, ‘Due to the issuance of notification of Delhi Assembly Elections on 05.02.2025, the Personality Test of Civil Services Examination 2024 scheduled on 05.02.2025 will now be conducted on Saturday, 08 February 2025.’
UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024 Revised Schedule Notice
UPSC interviews will continue till 17th April
Actually, Civil Services Personality Test has started from 7th January, which will continue till 17th April 2025. Roll number wise interview date and shift information is available here. Link You can check on. A total of 2,845 candidates are going to participate in the interview. It is being organized in two shifts. The first shift interview will start at 9 am, and the second shift interview will start at 1 pm. Candidates attending the interview will be eligible for reimbursement of traveling expenses, limited to Second/Sleeper Class Railway fare (Mail Express) only.

UPSC CSE Recruitment 2024 Vacancy
The commission wants to fill more than 1,000 vacancies through the recruitment process in 2024. Candidates who score more than the cut-off marks will be recruited to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other central services and posts. 1,056 vacancies have been announced for CSE 2024 and 150 for IFoS. There has been a decline in the number of vacancies compared to last year.

Let us tell you that UPSC CSE exam is conducted in three stages – preliminary, main and interview. UPSC CSE 2024 preliminary exam was held on June 16, while CSE main UPSC exam was held on September 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29. Candidates who qualify the main examination are called for interview and personality test. The personality test round will continue till April 17, 2025.
