The problems affect most expensive and not so expensive smartphones, including the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy A52 5G models.
Audio files on the affected devices are played with poor quality. Sound problems are especially noticeable during games or video editing. Most of all, the bug affects the low and mid frequencies. Interestingly, the problem is most noticeable on phones with high-quality speakers. Using wired or wireless headphones mitigates the situation.
One way to fix the bug is to start recording the screen. But this, however, does not solve the problem itself. Samsung has yet to acknowledge the issue and has yet to release a patch.
