NEW MARUTI PREMIUM MPV
Maruti Suzuki will soon bring a premium MPV based on the Innova Highcross, which will be a re-badged version of the Innova Highcross. This will be the costliest car in India from the Indo-Japanese automaker. The MPV will be launched in both versions with and without hybrid technology.
A 2.0 liter petrol engine will be used in it. With the strong hybrid setup, this engine will generate 206Nm of torque and 186PS of power while without the hybrid setup, it will deliver 205Nm and 174PS. The new Maruti MPV will be designed on Toyota’s monocoque TNGA-C platform.
It will have features like ADAS, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, second row seats with ottoman function and connected car tech. It will be launched by July.
MARUTI 7-SEATER SUV
The Indo-Japanese automaker will also enter the premium 7-seater SUV segment in the coming years. If reports are to be believed, the new Maruti three-row SUV will be based on the Grand Vitara and will rival the likes of Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar and Mahindra XUV700. It will be sold from Nexa dealerships.
The official details of the model are yet to be revealed. However, according to reports, it may come with NA petrol engine and Toyota’s strong hybrid powertrain. This means it could get a 1.5L K15C petrol mild hybrid and a 1.5L Atkinson cycle strong hybrid powertrain.
