On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, regarding the prevention of incidents of fire in the buses of the Transport Department.
Awareness has been started in the department from now on. All for this from UP Transport Issue Headquarters
Guidelines have been given to the regional officers.
Along with this, after discussion with the higher management, it has also been asked to complete some necessary actions to prevent incidents of fire in buses. Because of this there are many district panchayats. Where the awareness campaign has also been started.
In various districts, officers are going to the areas to train the employees about the reasons for the incidents of fire in buses and its prevention.
According to the instructions given, in case of fire incident in the bus, the Regional Managers and Service Managers will have to go to the spot themselves and the Regional Managers and Service Managers will have to inspect the bus.
Same, apart from this, if the bus of any area catches fire due to technical deficiency, then in the event of such incident, strict action has also been asked to be taken against the service manager of the area and the senior foreman of the concerned depot.
Service managers in every depot will give training to the drivers and operators on the use of fire extinguishers by May 20. Physical inspection of at least 20 buses of each depot will be done and points related to prevention of fire will be checked.
Along with this, a campaign will be carried out in each depot to ensure that the battery bays connected to the self-starter are fitted correctly and to prevent short circuit. The officers have been instructed to maintain an advisory register in the depot.
After receiving instructions in various districts, its implementation has started. Employees were given training in this regard by the officers of the Transport Corporation after visiting the areas. According to Additional Managing Director Annapurna Garg, technical checking of buses was done by the service managers at their depots. Along with this, self-checking was also done.
