UP : The zero tolerance policy that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has resolved to destroy the network of organized criminals in the state, the same zero tolerance policy will now be adopted against the drug mafia as well.
State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions to root out the illegal drug business. CM Yogi has said that the drug mafia is the enemy of the society.
The authorities have to dismantle their entire network. Special courts will be set up to try NDPS Act cases in fast track courts.
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath gave several tough instructions in the meeting of the State Level Committee of the Narco Co-ordination Center (NCARD).
He directed to increase mutual coordination between the investigating agencies along with action under the campaign against illegal drug trade. He said that in order to complete this campaign, the scope of investigation agencies in the state would also be bigger.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in the meeting that the police stations located in Jhansi, Ghazipur and Saharanpur of the newly constituted Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) should be made functional soon.
The problem of drug trafficking is not confined to any one state. This problem is a widespread problem. For which efforts should also be made unitedly. All the parties associated with enforcement should unite and work for this.
He said that multipronged efforts will have to be made to arrest the culprits involved in this black business and to rehabilitate the drug addicts. The campaign against illegal manufacture and sale of drugs should be intensified.
Accurate information should be gathered and effective action should be taken with better action plan. Attachment action against them should be ensured. Apart from this, other action should be ensured. Along with this, instructions have also been given to increase vigil on the international border from sensitive districts to the interstate.
