Uber 2022 accounts revealed, Indians spent 11 billion minutes in Uber cabs in 2022

Uber 2022: Ride-hailing platform Uber on Monday said in its annual analysis that Indians spent 11 billion minutes traveling in cabs in 2022. and 6 p.m. Saturday was the most popular day of the week for bookings, according to the company.

“The year 2022 will see Indians start traveling a lot again, and cities get back to business after the pandemic,” the company said. Furthermore, the company reported that the most popular in terms of number of trips was Uber Go, with Uber Auto a very close second.

The cities with the highest number of Uber trips in 2022 were Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Kolkata. The top five cities with intercity areas in 2022 were Mumbai to Pune, Mumbai to Nashik, Delhi to Agra, Jaipur to Chandigarh and Lucknow to Kanpur. During the year 2022, Uber expands to several new cities, becoming the first ridesharing company to have a presence in all 7 Northeast sister states.

For those unaware, this year, Uber also announced new safety features for users. These include auto rear seat belt reminder, RideCheck 3.0, SOS integration and updated safety toolkit. Additionally, Uber’s 24X7 Safety Line allows riders to call 88006-88666 from their phones or access it through the Uber app to connect with a live support agent. Now, this line will be available for riders to report any safety issue during the journey and up to 30 minutes after the end of the journey.
