“Twitter is about to start breaking down.” After Elon Musk’s ultimatum, employees are massively employed, the company closed offices

As it became known, the company Twitter, which owns the social network of the same name, closed its offices due to fears that employees could sabotage work on against the backdrop of Elon Musk’s ultimatum.

Previously, there were reports that Twitter employees were leaving in response to an ultimatum from Elon Musk, who said that they would either commit to “hardcore” work on creating Twitter 2.0, or leave. Now, the social media giant’s office buildings are temporarily closed.

Twitter managing editor Zoe Schiffer made the announcement on Thursday evening. In a follow-up to her original tweet, Schiffer said that “Elon Musk and his team are scared that employees are going to sabotage the company. Plus, they’re still trying to figure out which Twitter employees they need to lay off.” She also said that the company will reopen offices on November 21.

As reported by The Verge, the consequences of leaving disgruntled employees can be dire. “Twitter’s remaining and departing employees told The Verge that, given the scale of the layoffs this week, they expect “Twitter to break down soon.” One said he watched “legendary engineers” while the others watched to leave one by one. Another added: “It seems like all the people who made this place incredible.”
