TVS Motor Company has announced a two-wheeler sale of 2,91,882 units in June 2022, which includes both domestic and export. The company had seen growth in annual sales with June 2021 and month-on-month growth as of May 2022. Keeping in view the growing demand in the electric two wheeler space, TVS Motor is planning to expand its lineup in this segment with BMW Motorrad. Both these companies are planning a joint venture of electric two-wheeler and electric platform to meet the demand of concept for the coming times.
TVS Motor sold a total of 1,93,090 units in June 2022, an increase of 32.79 percent as compared to 1,45,413 units sold in June 2021. The company witnessed an increase of 47,677 units during this period. It witnessed a month-on-month sales growth of 0.84 per cent as against 1,91,482 units sold in May 2022.

TVS Jupiter topped the domestic sales with 62,851 units sold in TVS, which was 97.35 percent higher than 31,848 units sold in June 2021. Month-on-month sales grew by 5.43 per cent as against 59,613 units sold in May 2022. Jupiter has 32.55 percent stake. The company also saw a growth in sales of XL mopeds with 37,474 units sold in the last month, which is 4.39 per cent higher than 35,897 units sold in June 2021. There was a month-on-month increase of 6.62 per cent from 35,148 units sold in May 2022. It holds 19.41 percent stake.
It was followed by TVS Ntorq at number three, whose sales increased by 46.03 per cent to 22,741 units but declined by 12.55 per cent month-on-month as against 26,005 units sold in May 2022. The company has also seen a decline in sales of Apache which fell 44.64 percent to 16,737 units in June 2022 as compared to 30,233 units sold in June 2021. Month-on-month sales also declined by 38.11 per cent against 27,044 units sold in May 2022.
