TVS Ronin Launched: TVS Motor Company has launched its first neo-retro roadster in India. The new Ronin has been launched in the Indian market with three variants. The company has launched it at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 1,49,000, which goes up to Rs 1,68,750. The company has built it on a new platform. This is the first such bike from the company, which comes with 225.9 cc, single cylinder engine and new split dual-cradle frame. Talking about performance, its engine generates maximum power of 20.1 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 19.93 Nm of peak torque at 3,750 rpm.
According to the company, customers will get a top speed of 120 kmph in it. Its engine is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. The company has launched it for urban adventure on difficult roads. It is a crossover bike rather than a complete offroader like the Scrambler.
In the Indian market, it has a direct and tough competition from bikes like Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 and Yezdi Scrambler.
TVS Ronin has been given 17-inch alloy wheels. In this, new Remora block pattern, dual purpose tyres have been given. At the front, large pistons have been given with gold-finished Showa upside down forks. At the same time, gas charged monoshock rear suspension has been given in the rear.
Talking about safety, dual channel ABS feature has been given in its higher variant. Customers will get two drive modes like Rain and Urban in it. Talking about the features, TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity features have been given in it with new LED headlight, fully digital round instrument cluster.
