The new TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition in Marine Blue has been priced at Rs.87,011 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings for the new shed have started at TVS Motor Company’s authorized dealerships across India.
Inspired by the design of a stealth aircraft, the TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition gets aggressive styling with the signature LED tail and headlamps. The ‘Race Edition’ badging can also be seen on the scooter. The scooter gets sporty stub muffler, textured floorboard and diamond cut alloys which make it more attractive.
TVS NTORQ 125 Race Edition comes with TVS SmartXonnect which allows the rider to connect their smartphone to the scooter. This unlocks many smart connected features. These can be accessed through a fully digital instrument cluster which is equipped with over 60 features.
Features like missed call alert, message and turn-by-turn navigation are available on its display. The scooter also gets features like Last Parked Location Assist, Ride Statistics and Voice Assist which supports 15 voice commands. The scooter also gets an engine-kill switch, pass-by switch and high-speed alert.
TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition is powered by a 124.8 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled SOHC, fuel injected engine that produces 9.38 bhp of peak power at 7,000rpm and 10.5Nm of peak power at 7,000rpm. gives torque. The Race Edition has a top speed of 95 kmph and accelerates from 0-60 kmph in just 9 seconds.
Talking about the features, the TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition gets key features like pass by switch, dual side steering lock, parking brake and engine kill switch that add to the convenience of the scooter. Apart from this, the scooter gets external fuel fill, USB charger, a large 20-litre underseat storage and TVS patented EZ center stand.
The TVS Ntorq 125 offers a boot space of 22-litres, while it has a ground clearance of 155 mm. This scooter is a bit heavy in the 125cc segment in terms of weight. Its curb is 118 kg. In the Indian market, TVS Ntorq 125 competes with Suzuki Avnis 125, Yamaha RAZR, Honda Grazia 125 and Aprilia SXR 125.
