The top speed of the new TVS iQube is around 75 km/h. It features a five-inch color TFT screen and includes functionalities such as vehicle crash and tow alerts, as well as turn-by-turn navigation.
TVS Motor, one of the major two-wheeler companies, has introduced a new variant of its electric scooter, the iQube. Equipped with a 2.2 kW battery, its starting price is Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom). It can be charged from 0-80 percent in about two hours. Sales of electric two-wheelers have seen rapid growth in recent years.
Competing with electric scooters like the Ola S1 Pro and Hero Vida V1, the 2.2 kW battery variant of the TVS iQube is available in Pearl White and Walnut Brown colors. Additionally, the company has commenced delivery of the iQube ST, available in two variants with 3.4 kW and 5.1 kW batteries, priced at Rs 1.55 lakh and Rs 1.83 lakh, respectively.
The 3.4 kW variant of the TVS iQube ST boasts a range of around 100 kilometers on a single charge and can be charged from 0-80 percent in about three hours. Meanwhile, the 5.1 kW variant is said to feature the largest battery pack in its segment, offering a range of approximately 150 kilometers on a single charge and a charging time of four hours and 18 minutes from 0-80 percent.
Priced at around Rs 2.5 lakh, the company’s new electric scooter, TVS X, comes with 12-inch alloy wheels and offers a 19-liter storage capacity beneath the seat. TVS Motor plans to expand its range of electric two-wheelers by introducing models at various price points, with plans to expand its sales network and production capacity to meet the rising demand for the iQube. Additionally, the company intends to venture into international markets by exporting electric two-wheelers in the near future.
