“Over the past two weeks, we’ve seen an increase in complaints about spam calls on WhatsApp from India,” Alan Mamedi, Truecaller’s chief executive, told Reuters. The capacity of this office is around 250 workers. Modern technology and facilities are available in it. Truecaller has around 350 million users and out of these 250 million users are from India. It says that there are unique opportunities to launch new products and services on Truecaller’s platform in the country. Truecaller had said that the feedback it received has helped it improve solutions, which is critical to its growth and innovation capabilities. India, the world’s second largest smartphone market, is seeing increasing interest from foreign device companies such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi and Vivo, as well as apps and technology companies such as Truecaller.
