Triumph Motorcycles will launch the new Tiger Sport 660 adventure motorcycle on March 29, 2022. The new Triumph Tiger Sport 660 will be the British bikemaker’s new entry-level ADV and will replace the Tiger Sport 850 in the company’s line-up. This model is all set to take on the Kawasaki Versys 650 and Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT in the segment. The Tiger Sport 660 shares its base with the Trident 660 already on sale in India, but gets a different subframe, longer travel suspension and a purer body. The pre-bookings for the Tiger Sport 660 have started at Triumph dealerships across India.
The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is in line with the Tiger family in terms of design over the Trident. The model gets a larger 17-litre fuel tank, as well as a new instrument console, and different riding ergonomics. The bike comes with two riding modes – road and rain – with switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS. The seat height is 835 mm while the curb weight is 206 kg. The bike also comes with a tall windscreen, a step-up saddle, integrated pannier mounts and an underbelly exhaust.
Triumph Tiger Sport 660’s Rs. 8-9 lakh (ex-showroom), which will make it much more accessible than the Tiger 900 range, while keeping the prices on par with the competition.
