If caught driving while intoxicated, there is a fine of Rs 10,000 and can also be jailed for 6 months. This rule applies to the first time you are caught driving while intoxicated. Apart from this, if you are caught doing this again, the fine will be Rs 15,000 and the jail term will be two years. Although the police usually imposes a fine, but if they want, they can register a case against the person caught and send him to jail and he can be punished up to two years.

Apart from this, even if caught driving without insurance, you can be jailed. If caught driving a vehicle without insurance, the police can impose a fine of up to Rs 5000 on you. Apart from this, you can also be jailed for up to three months. In such a situation, if you violate these traffic rules then be careful. We suggest that you follow all the traffic rules for safe traffic. Let us inform that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had told in March 2022 that in the year 2021, 1.98 crore challans worth Rs 1,898.73 crore have been issued for traffic violation cases in the country.
