Under the mutual partnership between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, another new car has been launched, named Toyota Taisor. Tazer is actually the Toyota version of Maruti Front. Its basic body structure, features and engine are similar to the front ones. In the Indian market, it will compete with cars like Tata Punch, Hyundai Exeter, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.

Design of Toyota Taisor
90 percent of the car’s parts are like Franks. Slight changes can be seen on the bumper and front grille. The side profile of the car is similar to that of the Franxx. At the rear, it has been given redesigned tail-lamps and the light bar extends across the entire width. Taser can be purchased in a total of 5 color options – which include shades of white, silver, red, orange and grey. Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser has an attractive front grille, chrome highlights on the outside and LED lamps at the rear. It has been given 16-inch alloy wheels of different style from the front.

Dual-tone black-brown seats are available inside the car. Some premium features can also be seen in it, such as smartwatch connectivity, wireless charger, auto climate control, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, head-up display with turn navigation and wireless charger. For better safety, features like 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat and electronic stability program have been provided.
Toyota Taisoro Engine
With Toyota Tazer, customers will have the option to choose between two engines. One of these will be 1.0 liter turbo petrol and the other will be 1.2 liter petrol engine. Apart from petrol, option of CNG fuel is also available.
The 1.2 liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine generates 89bhp power and 113Nm torque. With this, the option of 5-speed manual and automatic gearbox is available. The second is a 1.0 liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which is coming with 5-speed manual, 5-speed automatic and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. CNG fuel option is also being given with 1.2 liter engine.

The price of Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor starts from Rs 7.74 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.04 lakh. Its CNG variant is priced at Rs 8.72 lakh. All these prices are as per ex-showroom.
