Toyota Innova Crysta is a popular MPV of the company and its diesel model gets the most bookings, but in such a situation, booking of diesel model has been stopped. The company had said that in view of the increasing waiting period, the booking of Innova Crysta diesel has been stopped for some time. However, the company has given information that from when its booking will be started again.
Talking about the Toyota Innova Crysta Limited Edition, it is based on the GX variant of the normal model. The company has made available the Innova Crysta petrol with a number of additional accessories to enhance bookings which was earlier available at an additional cost at the dealer level but is now made available for free with the GX variant.
Talking about these additional features, tire pressure monitoring system, wireless charging and heads-up display have been added to the Innova Crysta. According to dealers, these additional features cost around Rs 55,000 but will now be made available free of cost till October or till the stock runs out. The company has not announced its official price.
Now that taking bookings for Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel has been stopped but there are still some customers who are yet to receive the delivery details. The company had informed that some customers have been informed about the delivery timeline, although some customers are still waiting for the delivery information. At the same time, some customers are buying petrol models for quick delivery.
The waiting period of about one month is going on for the company’s Innova Crysta petrol. It is expected that Toyota is going to bring a hybrid model of Innova due to which the booking of diesel has been stopped. Toyota Innova Highcross will be introduced in India in the month of November 2022 and the company has started preparations for it. Sales of Toyota Innova High Cross will be started in January in the global market including India.
The company is currently promoting the strong hybrid engine and hence is heavily promoting the new urban cruiser Highrider. The way the strong hybrid variant of this model has received response, it seems that customers are also liking it. The company is now offering it as an option but in future it will be sold as the main engine option.
Toyota Innova Crysta is the company’s best selling model in the Indian market and in such a situation, the company would not want to reduce the sales. In such a situation, to meet the shortfall caused by stopping the booking of the diesel variant, the company has brought a limited edition of the petrol variant and this is a great opportunity for the customers.
