Toyota First Electric SUV In India: Toyota is preparing to bring the first electric car in India. According to reports, this will be a car based on the urban SUV concept, which was introduced in December last year. Due to the Maruti-Toyota partnership, there will be many similarities between the Toyota electric car and Maruti eVX.
Maruti EVX can be launched in India by March 2025 and Toyota’s first electric car can be launched in India a few months after that. It is expected that the Toyota version of Maruti’s electric car will come to India by September or October 2025. After 6 months, Maruti will launch another electric car in India.

Toyota’s Electric Car The size will be like its concept model. Its length will be 4300mm, width 1820mm, height 1620mm and wheelbase 2700mm. Martui eVX will also have the same size. Both cars will be built on the skateboard platform. These will be made in Suzuki’s Gujarat plant.
Features of Toyota EV
Toyota’s electric SUV can get C-shaped LED daytime running lights, simple style front bumper, flared wheel arch. This car will be provided with a luxury cabin on the inside, which will include advanced technology and safety features. At present, not much information has been received about it.
Battery pack and range
This electric car can come in two battery pack options. One of these will be a 60kWh battery pack option which will give a range of up to 550 kilometers on a full charge. The second option will be of 48kWh, which will give a range of about 400 kilometers after single charging.
Toyota has confirmed that this EV will come in both front wheel drive and all wheel drive options. After its launch in the Indian market, it will compete with Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti eVX and Tata Curve EV.
