Let us tell you that the company launched Kratos and Kratos-R electric motorcycles in January this year. The Tork Kratos has been made available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,22,500 and Kratos-R at Rs 1,37,500. Prices are after subsidy on vehicles. Both the bikes have been offered in Red, White, Blue and Black, but at present, the company is only delivering white colours.
If you want to buy Tork Kratos or Kratos-R, then you can book online by visiting the company’s website www.torkmotors.com. A refundable amount of Rs 999 will be charged for booking the bike. Torque Motors has said that soon the company will start deliveries in other cities as well.
Kapil Shelke, Founder, Torque Motors said that he plans to deliver over 200 bikes every month. The company is working on increasing the production capacity at the Chakan plant and plans to manufacture 3,500 to 4,000 bikes per month at this plant.
The Torque Kratos comes mated to a 7.5 kW electric motor and generates 28 Nm of torque along with 10 bhp of power. This electric motorcycle gives a range of 120 kms on a full charge. At the same time, it can be run at a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour. It takes just 4 seconds to accelerate from 0-40 kmph. The bike is powered by a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery.
The Tork Kratos-R is the more powerful variant of the model that uses a 9kW electric motor. The motor produces 12 Bhp of power and 38 Nm of torque, which is 10 Nm more than the standard model. This variant has been introduced with fast charging option. The company claims that it can be charged up to 80 percent in just 60 minutes. This variant gets a top speed of 105 km/h.
Torque Motors is also offering Kratos customers the facility of free charging for up to two years at its charging stations. The Torque Kratos is also equipped with many advanced features and equipment. As an electric bike, Torque Kratos has all the necessary features.
Apart from digital instrument cluster, features like three riding modes, reverse mode, regenerative braking, smartphone connectivity, navigation, geo-fencing, side-stand indication, charging point location, crash alert, ride analytics etc. have been provided in this bike.
Torque Kratos gets telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Talking about braking, disc brakes have been given on both its wheels. This bike also gets a ground clearance of 165 mm. At the same time, its weight is 140 kg.
