Top 10 Two Wheelers: These 10 Scooters And Motorcycles Have Sold More Than Activa

Two Wheelers Sale: Bajaj Pulsar has been at number five, registering an increase of about 47 percent in its sales. Its sales have increased from 66,107 units (August 2021) to 97,135 units (August 2022). The volume gain crossed the 31000 units mark.

Two-Wheeler Sales In August 2022: If we look at the sales of two-wheelers, then Hero Splendor is the best seller in the month of August. It is counted among the affordable bikes of the country. It has sold a total of 2,86,007 units, which was 2,41,703 units in August last year. Its sales have registered an increase of 18.33 percent (annual). It is followed by Honda Activa at number two, with a total of 2,21,143 units sold in August 2022 while 2,04,659 units were sold in August 2021. The volume gain has been around 16.5 thousand units with a growth of 8.05 percent.

Honda’s CB Shine motorcycle has been at number three. However, there has been a decline of 7.53 percent in sales. It has sold a total of 1,20,139 units in August 2022, as against 1,29,926 units in the same period last year. Bajaj Platina is at number four, with a total of 99,987 units sold. The sales of Platina have increased by 76.61 percent year-on-year. A total of 56,615 units were sold in August 2021.

Bajaj Pulsar has been at number five, registering an increase of about 47 percent in its sales. Its sales have increased from 66,107 units (August 2021) to 97,135 units (August 2022). The volume gain crossed the 31000 units mark. Hero HF Deluxe was at number six, which saw a decline of 37 percent in sales but still sold a total of 72,224 units in August 2022. In August 2021, this figure was 1,14,575 units.

TVS Jupiter was at number seven, which sold 70,075 units in August 2022 while 45,625 units were sold in August 2021. Its sales have increased by 53.59 percent. At number eight is TVS Apache, which sold 40,520 units in August 2022 while 16,423 units were sold in August 2021. Its sales have increased by 146.73 percent. They are followed by Suzuki Access (40,375 units) and TVS XL (36,489 units) at number 9 and 10 respectively. Both have seen a decline in sales.
