Tired of too many spam calls? Learn here how to block all at once

Tired of all the telemarketing and spam calls? Well, when you are stuck in work or meeting then unwanted calls often disturb and trigger you the most. Due to frequent calls, people often miss important calls as they keep their smartphones on silent mode.

Sometimes these spam calls are also fraud calls, targeting users pretending to be from a bank or other related deceptive identities. It is not possible to block every spam number. But there is a way by which you can block and report spam calls in bulk or stop receiving spam calls and messages.

How to activate Do Not Disturb (DND)

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) launched National Customer Preference Register (NCPR), formerly National Do Not Call Registry (NDNC) initiative to help people block spam calls. People can sign-up for the service to block all telemarketing communications or calls from select areas.

To activate DND on your number-

  3. Your service provider will send you a list of categories like banking, hospitality and others along with their codes.
  4. Reply with the code for the category you want to block.
  5. Your telecom operator sends you a message confirming your request.
