Mahindra Scorpio N: Indian automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra launched its new SUV Scorpio N last year, which is so popular that within 30 minutes of its booking, more than 1 lakh units were booked. Currently, it is the car with the longest waiting period in the country, and customers may have to wait up to 2 years for delivery of some of its variants.
How is the look?
It is completely different and bigger than the old Scorpio. It is longer and wider and has a longer wheelbase. However, in terms of height, it is slightly shorter than the old Scorpio. The length of this SUV is 4662mm, width 1917mm, height 1849mm and wheelbase 2750mm. It gets the signature Mahindra grille and muscular bumper with chrome elements at the front. Its LED projector headlamp and LED fog lamp design is quite attractive. The design of the LED DRL strips is inspired from the old Scorpio. In the rear profile, the rear quarter glass gets a scorpion tail design treatment along with a chrome strip. Also, it looks quite attractive due to the flared wheel arch and strong shoulder-line. The tail lamps look inspired from Volvo.

engine
The Scorpio-N comes with both petrol and diesel engine options. The 2.2L diesel engine generates power of 132PS in the base variant and 175PS in the higher variant. The petrol engine, on the other hand, generates power of 203PS only on a single tune. Both the engines come with automatic gearbox options, but the 4×4 is only available with the diesel engine.
