In the two-wheeler segment, there is a lot of sales of cheap scooters along with motorcycles and Honda Activa is the best selling scooter in this segment. Last month, i.e. August 2022 also saw a tremendous craze of Honda Activa scooter and more than 2.21 lakh people bought it. In front of Honda Activa with an initial price of just Rs 72,400, the scooters of other companies including TVS, Suzuki, Honda, Hero and Yamaha did not work and the sales of their scooters decreased. Honda Activa No.1 Scooter
Talking about the top selling scooter in India, according to the August 2022 Scooter Sales Report, Honda Activa is at number one, with a total of 2,21,143 units sold last month. Activa’s sales have seen an annual growth of 8 percent. After this comes the number of TVS Jupiter, which has sold a total of 70,075 units last month. Jupiter’s sales have also seen an annual increase of about 54 percent. Suzuki Access is at number three in the list of best selling scooters, with a total of 40,375 units sold in August last month. After this, Honda Dio is at number four, with a total of 29,7140 units sold last month. TVS Ntorq is at number 5, with a total of 27,649 units sold in August last.

Popular Scooters of Yamaha

Hero Pleasure and Yamaha RAZR
Looking at the August 2022 sales report of the popular scooter in India, Hero Pleasure has sold a total of 16,589 units and this scooter is at number six. It is followed by Suzuki Burgman, with a total of 12,146 units sold in August 2022. Hero Destiny stood at number 8 with a total of 11,213 units sold last month. A total of 10,124 units of Yamaha Ray ZR have been sold last month and this is a yearly decrease of around 37 per cent. At the same time, a total of 9,150 units of Yamaha Fascino, which is at number 10, have been sold in August last and the sales of this scooter have seen a decrease of 49 percent annually.
