New Delhi. Samsung’s recently launched flagship Galaxy S24 Series is getting a strong response. The company said that a record 2.5 lakh pre-bookings took place in India in just 3 days. In comparison, Samsung achieved 2.5 lakh pre-bookings for its Galaxy S23 series in a span of 3 weeks in the country last year.
The company launched the new Galaxy S24 series globally on January 17 and started pre-booking in the country on January 18. Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, MX Business, Samsung India, said, “The Galaxy S24 series, powered by Galaxy AI, ushers in a new era of mobile revolution and puts the power of AI in the hands of consumers to unlock new possibilities. “
Galaxy S24 device sales will start from January 31
Customers pre-booking Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Plus will get a benefit of Rs 22,000 and those pre-booking Galaxy S24 will get a benefit of Rs 15,000. The sale of Galaxy S24 device will start from January 31.
Samsung’s market share may increase
According to Neil Shah, Vice President of Research at Counterpoint, the overall premium market is growing rapidly. “This will help Samsung register some annual growth for the S series and increase its market share from 26 per cent to 28 per cent in 2023,” Shah told IANS.
