This is the right time to buy Tata’s car, all models will become expensive from next month


Tata Motors is going to increase vehicle prices from next month. The company has attributed the reason behind this to rising inflation and increase in input cost. However, as of now, the percentage by which the company will increase the prices of vehicles has not been revealed.

The company has already increased the prices of its passenger vehicles 4 times in the year 2021. This year Tata Motors has grown 3.45% – 0.9% in January, 1.1% in April, 0.55% in July and 0.9% in November.

1. Tata Nexon

The Tata Nexon has been Tata Motors’ best-selling car for a long time, beating popular models like the Creta and even the Maruti Suzuki Alto in November 2022. Compared to November 2021, it has got a growth of 61% on an annual basis. In November 2022, 15,871 units of Nexon were sold, whereas in November 2021, 9,832 units were sold.

Let us tell you that Tata Nexon is available in more than 60 variants which include Petrol, Diesel, EV and Tata Nexon EV Max.

2. Tata Punch

Tata’s smallest SUV, the Punch, was the carmaker’s second best-selling car in November 2022 with 12,131 units sold. In comparison, Tata Motors sold only 6,110 units of the Punch in November 2021, showing a 99% year-on-year growth.

The Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 84bhp. While gearbox options include a manual and an AMT.

3. Tata Tiago

Tata Motors’ entry-level car Tiago is the company’s third best-selling model in November 2022. It sold 5,097 units in November 2022 as against 4,998 units in November 2021. Which saw an increase of 2% on an annual basis.

The Tata Tiago is available in CNG and EV with a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The Tata Tiago EV is currently the cheapest electric car in India with a range of 315 km on a full charge.
