This is BYD’s latest sedan with a consumption of less than 4 liters per 100 km: live photos BYD Qin L

Appeared real photos BYD Qin L — the new mid-size sedan from the world’s largest manufacturer of cars on new sources of energy. This car has a plug-in hybrid system and a range of up to 90 km on electric power.

In Qin L used the latest design of the brand Dragon Face from the former veteran Audi Wolfgang Egger. The front bumper of the Qin L has two ventilation holes and a thin trapezoidal air intake. BYD Qin L received a larger radiator grille, functional deflectors and parking sensors at the front and rear. The sedan received traditional door handles, a charging port on the right rear wing and a fuel tank hatch on the left rear wing.

It got a three-spoke steering wheel with a chopped bottom, LCD-combination instruments and a large screen. Unlike the sedan Qin Plus, the L version is equipped with a projection display.

The overall dimensions of BYD Qin L consist of 4830 x 1900 x 1495 mm with a wheelbase of 2790 mm. Its front and rear wheels are equal to 1620 mm. The entry and exit angles are 13 and 14 degrees respectively. Its unladen mass ranges from 1660 to 1800 kg depending on the variant of the power plant.

BYD Qin L uses a completely new hybrid transmission DM-i 5th generation based on a 1,5-liter DCS and electric engine. Buyers will be offered two versions:

    • Battery LFP 10,08 kW h, fuel consumption 3,8 l / 100 km, range on electric traction 60 km;

 

    • Battery LFP 15,87 kW·h, fuel consumption 3,98 l / 100 km, range on electric traction 90 km.
