Data from e-commerce monitoring platform Sandalwood shows that sales of iPhone 14 smartphones on Tmall can be described as twofold.
In the first week, sales of the standard version of the iPhone 14 fell 70% compared to sales of the standard version of the iPhone 13 over the same time period last year. At the same time, sales of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max increased by 56%.
For the standard iPhone 14 model, the most popular version is the 128GB version. In the case of the rest of the models, buyers prefer versions that are equipped with 256 or 512 GB.
Sandalwood also confirms previous information that Apple contract assembler Foxconn is dismantling part of the iPhone 14 production lines to expand production of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Observers believe that the iPhone 14 Plus postponed to October may completely fail in sales, as it is a copy of the iPhone 14 with a larger screen and battery.
